If this doesn't creep you out, I don't know what will. I love movies that don't use jump scares or overly theatrical music to creep me out and simply watching all of this happen in the trailer is enough for me to not watch it alone when it eventually comes out.
I loved the first, and the second one looks just as promising. Sequels are almost always terrible, but this time it's being shown from the kid's point of view as well as the adults. Seems just as good as the first - and I hope it is since Sinister is one of my favorite movies.
The past can haunt you, even years later. This movie is about an instance involving such. In high school, something happened between the victim and the stalker in this movie. The guy comes back some decades later and decides to teach him and his wife a lesson - starting by leaving gifts around their home.
Police think the dad did it but the dad doesn't remember. The daughter says she can't remember either until she's put under hypnosis. Then she remembers robes. Candles. Chants. Let race for killer(s) ensue before they can finish the job - all while not being sure if the dad is actually in on it or not.
If you haven't seen this trailer, I'm surprised. I don't even watch regular television and I've seen this trailer. Two kids go to visit their grandparents, who seem perfectly loving and kind. But they have one specific rule: never come out of your bedroom after 9:30 PM. The kids don't obey, obviously. And something is up with grandma and gramps.
Tom Hiddleston, an active knowledge of ghosts and spirits, and a house filled with memories that take up the energy and use it as its own. Awesome.
Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension
I've seen every one of these movies and honestly only really liked 1 - 3, but this one looks AMAZING. They really sucked it up with the last one and I think they know it because this one looks so much better. If the movie is as good as the trailer, this might rival movie number 3 for my favorite.
Look for demons? You're gonna find them. (And that's all I've got to say about that).
Which movies are you looking forward to?
Happy Monday! :)
