I had the amazing opportunity to work with Proactiv over the last few months and got to try out their Proactiv+ skincare line over the last 90 days. I would've added a before picture as well as my after one, but I am normally so subconscious about my skin that I have no pictures of me makeup-less before I finished this skincare program. The ones I sent to apply for Proactiv have been gone since the day they were sent.
I have always had bad acne problems, ever since I first started my period (when I was 12!), my face has been a crazy mess.
And let me tell you, I am SO excited about this skin care line! I still get random breakouts from stress or bad eating or forgetting to wash my face some nights, but they're never as bad as they were before using Proactiv+. I've seen that a lot of people have problems with it over drying their face, but I actually didn't have that problem at all! I used it once a day and used the skin purifying mask every few days as needed, but instead of using it as a mask, I used it as a spot treatment.
Sadly, the skincare line didn't really do much to make my pores smaller, but other than that - it was great! And it's super easy to get into the habit of.
Here's my routine and how I used it:
Skin Smoothing Exfoliator: (Kept in shower) - I used this every time I showered to wash my face, whether that was once or twice a day.
Pore Targeting Treatment: (Kept next to the sink) - I used it before I went to bed at night.
Complexion Perfecting Hydrator: (Kept next to the sink) - Also used before bed at night.
Skin Purifying Mask: (Kept on bedside table) - Used literally as I was about to lay down as a spot treatment! I'd wash it off the next morning when I woke up.
Have you tried the new Proactiv+ Skincare Line? Because you absolutely should if you haven't. It's worth it. So worth it. Today is actually the first day I've worn makeup in almost a week because I am so much more comfortable in my skin.
Would you try it? Think it sounds good? Let me know!
(P.S. - I literally took this photo right after I woke up so it would be legitimate. So no judging on the crazy hair. :P I know all you bloggers and readers don't wake up with perfect hair every day!)
