I love fall.
Winter is my favorite season, but fall is a very close second with all of the beautiful color on campus and the start of long sleeves, scarves, and clothes worn to be cute rather than clothes to keep cool in the humid, hot weather.
Eshakti sent me the first real fall dress that I've had for this year. I've gained a little bit of weight since last year (not much, but enough that sizes aren't the same), so a lot of dresses that I've had forever don't fit exactly right anymore. I love this dress that I ordered from Eshakti. They pride themselves on being perfectly customizable, and they really are.
This dress originally had capsleeves and was a bit longer than what I'm wearing. But when I decided on it, I really wanted a dress that could work from the end of summer to the beginning of winter so I made it 3/4 length sleeves but short enough to wear with boots when it gets colder (and flats/heels for now!).
It turned out beautifully. I think, anyway.
The material was a bit stiff when I got it so I automatically threw it in the wash to get the wrinkles out/make it softer, but even when I got it back out it was stiff. Hopefully it'll soften up a bit once I've worn it more.
Plus. Best thing about it?
IT HAS POCKETS.
God, I love pockets.
