10 Things I'm Ready For This Fall

Hot Chocolate (with all the marshmallows)
Backyard movie nights with no mosquitos
Bonfires
Pumpkin pie
HALLOWEEN!
Old Halloween movies
Haunted houses
Cold weather
Hayrides
Corn mazes

Fall in the south is FANtastic.
As much as I'm ready to graduate next May and explore the world, the south will always be my home. And when fall starts to come around, I love to explore all of the tiny (and huge!) corn mazes people make that pop up around Mississippi and Alabama. I'll totally drive a few hours to go to whatever catches my eye, even if the tour is only half an hour long or less.

Along with those, I'm a huge fan of haunted houses and factories and tours (checkout Atrox Factory if you live close to Alabama!) because I love anything to do with the supernatural. I guess you could say I'm a bit of an adrenaline junkie, because scaring myself is something I like to do on the reg.

I have so much more that I love about fall, but really, it's just everything. Everything.

On another note, these rings that I'm wearing in the photos above are my new pieces that I wear all the time! I forgot that I even have them on and they're so dainty that you can literally wear them with anything in your closet. I have two silver and two gold from Nikki Stark and I just generally wear them all at once. It helps, even when I'm in work out clothes, to help me look more put together, don't you think?

What're your statement pieces for fall? & what do you love about the season?

Happy Thursday, everyone! :)

  4. I absolutely LOVE bonfires and corn mazes!! I'm also form the south (South Carolina!) and one of my favorite things about fall is the fashion! It's not too cold here so we actually get a chance to break out the real fall clothes before the cold weather (well, cold to me) blows in.

I'm not sure I typically have a statement piece, but this fall it seems like it's going to be my Kate Spade "Et Cetera" Idiom Bangle. I wear it with basically everything!

    1. YES! I'm so glad someone else does! I envy that you have real fall weather or awhile though, because ours pretty quickly turns to winter. Don't get me wrong, I love winter, but it would be nice to have fall for longer than we do!

I'd love to see that bangle! KS is one of my favorites.

I also can't wait to visit NYC this Fall because it will be the first time I'm seeing my east coast friends since we graduated college in May <3

  17. I love the cozy weather. Cappuccinos & hot chocolates. And I absolutely adore knit wear. But first I need Fall to star acting like Fall and less like Summer.
