When I was in Atlanta for the Aeropostale relaunch last week, I FINALLY got to meet my "boss" - Megan from Lush To Blush! I was already in Lenox Square Mall so when she recommended we eat at True Food Kitchen while we were there, I was stoked! My feet were killing me from wearing heels the whole time I was shopping and I was literally about to drop. That mall is HUGE. For those of you who live in/near Atlanta and know what I'm talking about....OMG. Seriously. I could spend some hard earned cash in that place just on a few stores. And there's a Chipotle, which makes it 10x better.
But what makes this restaurant so amazing is the fact that the food is great, the drinks are delicious, AND the atmosphere is adorable! Everything is green and yellow, fitting in with the "natural" theme of the restaurant. Everything is based around an "anti-inflammatory diet" which means that literally everything they serve is good for you. You can see the cooks while they work, the waitresses really know their info, and they make their own "sodas" and teas.
As for what those drinks are in the first photo?
Honey Dew Melon Mint Soda | "The Natural" (Ginger, Agave, and Soda) | Acai Hibiscus Green Tea
They were all delicious but my favorite was the green tea. It's just so refreshing and yet still sweet and I really just love all kinds of tea.
And the soup was Thai Chicken. It was the soup of the day and it was DELICIOUS. I didn't really think it would fill me up because it didn't look like much, but I was full enough that I didn't eat anything til around 2 AM while I was on my cousins' couch watching America's Next Top Model (Which is really saying something. I'm a snacking champ).
So if you're ever in Atlanta and wondering where you should go eat....try this place!
It's absolutely incredible.
And this post is not sponsored, I just really loved True Food Kitchen. :)
