So I basically took a hiatus this past week from blogging.
I went to the doctor on Monday and found out that I had a pretty bad case of bronchitis, and ever since then, I've been wallowing in self pity. I almost never actually get sick, so when I do...I just get ridiculously pitiful. I put off everything and instead sleep so much that I can't keep up with the hours anymore. I felt bad, not putting up anything last week, but I really think I needed it. It made me look at things different and gave me time to really put things in perspective and appreciate them more.
I am thankful for:
being able to breathe properly out of my nose.
my boyfriend indulging my pitiful self this week.
professors who understand you missing class because you feel like you're dying.
nights off from work. even if they are spent sick.
the bloggers who checked up on me while i was sick.
sleeping through the night (mostly) without waking up in a cold sweat.
chills are not a regular part of my life anymore.
i can walk around Wal-mart to buy groceries without having to stop and sit every few minutes.
Vicks for making inhaler type nose spray things that are magical.
friendly women that take your xrays.
a best friend that'll sit with me in the doctor's office because i didn't want to go alone.
parents who check up on me.
water. ALL the water.
game apps. i've been playing one particular game ALL week.
ceiling fans and candles.
my christmas lights on my wall.
