Flower Child Hair - GIVEAWAY!

I'm so excited to finally bring you guys this giveaway!
About a month ago, I contacted Christina from Flower Child Hair about a possible collaboration. I happened upon her site one day and saw that they not only have adorable flower clips and headbands, but also a love for showing women their whimsical side and a passion for the environment. They use leftover fabric in the market that's already been produced to make their products instead of letting it go to waste. Sustainability is their priority. And when powerful women who love a cause are promoting their business, I am always happy to help!

I love this headband. I almost never actually dry my hair, because most days before I started back to class, I just pulled it back or put a beanie on. And that is the very reason that this post has taken so long to make! Haha. I didn't want to put this beautiful headband on hair that was ratchet and gross. So tonight I took the time to wash, dry, and curl my hair to show you lovelies three different ways you could wear this clip - because it is, in fact, a clip - not a headband.

And maybe since I now have an adorable hair clip and more important places to be, I'll fix my hair more often.
Maybe.

Christina has been a charm to work with and I literally have no complaints at all about her, the site, or the clip itself! The clip on it is very sturdy and will hold in fine hair like mine most of the time with no help. If anything, i added a little volumizing powder to make my roots more easy to attach to, but that was about it! It literally took me less than a minute to put the clip in and secure it how I wanted to with bobby pins.

I'm planning on doing a vlog soon about how to exactly do a few of these styles, but I'll be sure to post on FB and Twitter when I do!

But the best thing about this is that I'm also giving one away! I'd love to see whoever wins post pictures or a video of their own on how they like to wear it!

So good luck. May the odds be ever in your favor.

  1. What I'm most looking forward to in 2014 is really being fearless and not letting things hold me back anymore. Also, for turning 20, that'll be cool too, I guess. :)
